Use LifePsalm with care

Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the LifePsalm app, website, companion, subscription, and related services.

Effective: July 21, 2026

Important: LifePsalm is an AI-supported Christian reflection and prayer tool. It is not God, Jesus, a prophet, a pastor, a counselor, a clinician, or an emergency service.

1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Basso Digital LLC ("LifePsalm," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using LifePsalm, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LifePsalm. If you are not old enough to agree to these Terms under the law where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them for you. Do not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

3. What LifePsalm provides

LifePsalm offers tools for Christian reflection, Scripture discovery, editable prayer, personal memory, faith threads, journey history, and optional prayer circles. Some features may be local or in demo form until online services are enabled. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features as the product develops.

4. AI, Scripture, and spiritual guidance

  • Generated reflections, context, summaries, questions, and prayers may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review them before relying on, saving, or sharing them.
  • LifePsalm does not speak for God and cannot reveal, predict, or guarantee God's will, future events, healing, outcomes, or answers to prayer.
  • Generated prayer is a starting point you can edit. It is not Scripture. The name LifePsalm does not mean that user content or AI output is a biblical Psalm.
  • We aim to identify Scripture sources and separate Bible text from generated interpretation. Translation text, references, historical context, and theological explanations can still contain errors or reflect reasonable differences in interpretation.
  • LifePsalm is designed to acknowledge denominational differences with humility. It does not represent every church, tradition, or doctrine.

You remain responsible for your decisions. For significant spiritual questions, consider speaking with a trusted pastor, priest, spiritual director, or mature member of your faith community.

5. Health, safety, and emergencies

LifePsalm does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safeguarding, or other professional advice. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for qualified care.

If you may hurt yourself or someone else, are in immediate danger, or are experiencing an emergency, do not rely on LifePsalm. Call local emergency services. In the United States or Canada, call or text 988 for crisis support. Elsewhere, use a local crisis service or findahelpline.com. For suspected abuse, contact an appropriate local safeguarding or emergency organization when safe to do so.

6. Accounts and security

You are responsible for accurate account information, the security of your credentials and device, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may use available settings to erase local data; online account deletion may be requested through [email protected].

7. Prayer circles and shared content

Only share content you are authorized and comfortable to share. Prayer requests may reveal sensitive information about you or other people. Do not identify another person or disclose their confidential information without appropriate permission.

Circle members may see, copy, or act on content shared with them. We cannot guarantee how another user will handle shared information. You may not harass, shame, exploit, impersonate, threaten, or endanger others; solicit money deceptively; post unlawful or abusive content; or use spiritual claims to manipulate another person.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of original content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the service and to follow your sharing choices. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup, security, and legal retention.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit and share your content. Feedback you voluntarily provide about LifePsalm may be used without restriction or compensation, but we will not publicly identify you without permission.

9. Acceptable use

You may not misuse LifePsalm, including by attempting unauthorized access; disrupting the service; reverse engineering except where law expressly permits it; extracting data at scale; bypassing safety, subscription, or usage controls; introducing malicious code; violating another person's rights; or using the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, exploitative, or commercial resale purposes.

10. Subscriptions and purchases

  • Prices, billing periods, trial terms, and included features are shown before purchase and may vary by country or experiment.
  • Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple's current rules.
  • Apple charges your Apple Account and manages cancellation, renewal, refunds, taxes, and payment methods. You can manage a subscription in your Apple Account settings or through LifePsalm's subscription controls.
  • A free trial, if offered, converts to the displayed paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
  • A "Lifetime" purchase, if offered, provides access to the LifePsalm Pro features made available for that product for the supported life of the service; it does not guarantee that every future product, separate service, or third-party cost will be included forever.
  • Except where law or Apple's policies require otherwise, purchases are non-refundable. Requests for App Store refunds must be made to Apple.

Deleting the app or your LifePsalm account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

11. Our content and intellectual property

LifePsalm, its software, design, brand, and original content are owned by Basso Digital LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Scripture translations and third-party content remain subject to their respective terms and attribution. The World English Bible is used as identified in the app.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using LifePsalm at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, address serious or repeated violations, comply with law, or discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute terms.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LifePsalm is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Basso Digital LLC and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from LifePsalm. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid for LifePsalm during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

15. Apple terms

If you use the iOS app, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Basso Digital LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use must also comply with the App Store's applicable terms.

16. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the revised version and provide additional notice when required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, sale, or legal succession. Applicable law governs these Terms without overriding consumer rights that apply where you live.
